Reference Help
- We offer Free Expert Search Services for National Jewish employees.
- FEEL CONFIDENT THAT YOUR TOPIC HAS BEEN THOROUGHLY SEARCHED!
- The library staff will search MEDLINE and other databases for you at no charge, usually with same day delivery. (You will be notified prior to the search if there is a cost; your cost center or grant can be charged-back.)
- Use the Literature Search Request Form
- or E-mail your literature search request to the library.
Circulation of Books and Journals
To check out NJ books and journals, as well as books from UCHSC, stop by the library and fill out a Patron Data Sheet. You can also get a code on Ovid/MEDLINE so that you can save searches and receive automatic weekly updates on topics of interest.
- Books are loaned for two weeks.
- Journals are loaned for 3 days.
- Overdue notices are sent and, after 2 notices, you will be billed for the material.
- Books from the scientific collection are circulated to NJ employees only.
- Health Info Center books are circulated to the general public.
Mobile Classroom
We can bring the classroom to you! Our wireless portable classroom gives us the flexibility to deliver instruction at the point-of-need. Let us tailor the learning experience to suit your specific training needs, or borrow the classroom for your own purposes. Learn more
Technical support
Photocopying
The library has a Sharp Digital copy machine and scanner. Make copies or scan print materials to PDF and TIFF for OCR conversion. The copy machine is reserved for library copying only.
Facilities
- Paging Telephone is located in the copy room.
- Restroom is available.
- Study carrels available for study. Lounge chairs are available for reading.
